Second graders will be continuing to work on their vocabulary development and comprehension strategies. Students will be able to identify books or reading material that are at their reading level. While differences may exist from class to class in the reading materials that are used, the primary elements of the reading program remain the same in all classes and include: Shared Reading, Guided Reading, Literature Study, Independent Reading, and Word Study.
